Herr Schweimer will judge the female classes
My name is Hans-Peter Schweimer, born April 20, 1950 in Bad Oldesloe in the State of Schleswig Holstein.
I became a member of the SV in 1976. At that time I had a one year old male, whom I brought with me while on a vacation trip in Denmark. It was with this dog that I started in the SV and did about 8 years of utility work with him. With the breed and show aspect, I really did not have much in mind. But that all suddenly changed in early 1985 when I bought a new male puppy.
At first, he was just a nice little dog, who eventually grew up in my home. As he got older, he became nicer and nicer, and it appeared evident that he could turn out to be something special. He was the male "Henning von Noort". At the Sieger Show in Hamburg in 1986, he earned the rating of SG3 in the young dog class and later achieved ratings of V1 in 1987, 1988 and 1989 in the working class under President Hermann Martin. The elusive VA was not to be his, as 2 VA males with the same father "Quando von Arminius" won out. He did however achieve the VA in countries - Denmark and Austria. He produced 1064 progeny.
It was through this dog, that I became very well-known in the SV. In the meantime, I became active as a SV Breed Judge in 1988. My kennel name of "vom Nordlandzwinger" was registered with the SV, however with only small litters and little success.
The first female I personally bred who achieved a high rate of success was "Kascha von Nordlandzwinger", earning the rating of V15 at the Sieger Show in 1997. The most famous dogs in my kennel were " Quiro and Quando von Norlandzwinger, whereby Quando was rated V10 at the Sieger Show in Bremen and V26 in 2001. In 1998 and 1999 I had more success with Rudi van Noort or otherwise known as Quiro aus der neuen Hauffstrasse, who achieved the rating of V 13 and V5 at the Sieger Show respectively.
I have been an official for our region (Hamburg/Schleswig-Holstein) since 1993 and was asked to campaign as the assistant executive board member. I was actually voted in to the Board. It was at this time that I started my apprenticeship as a SV breed judge and three years later in 1996, I successfully became an official SV Breed Judge. Then in 1997, I was voted in as the Chief Executive on the Board for our region. I still hold this position today. I finalized my Kormeister exam in August 2001 and have been a SV Kormeister since that time.
